From the fast life
to the slow one.
After years in Johannesburg, Paul Kahanovitz traded the rush for the Cape’s southern coast. Slow Life began as a café and a place for music, and grew into live shows, vinyl DJ sets and a record shop here in Kalk Bay.
His love of jazz runs deep: his father was a jazz musician and photographer with ties to South Africa’s legendary Blue Notes. Today, that love of discovery lives in every crate.
